The Dielectric Elastomer (DE) technology represents the fundament of the company's products and services. This technology results in novel polymer actuators, sensors and generators that enhance the product performance of various applications.

The founding team
Dr. Gabor Kovacs | CEO
Gabor, born 1958, graduated as Dr. Dipl. Masch.-Ing. ETH at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Since 20 years, he has been working as researcher, senior researcher, group leader and head of lab Mechanical Systems Engineering at EMPA.
Lukas Düring | CTO
Lukas, born 1982, graduated as Master of Science ETH in Mechanical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Since 2007, he has been working at EMPA as researcher before founding CTsystems.
